Joe and Amy Singleton joined our ministry team in 2013. They have been in ministry over 16 years and Pastor Joe is a licensed minister in the Church of God. Joe and Amy began their start in ministry by working in children's church. They knew the calling God had on their life was working with kids but they soon realized their heart and passion was for teenagers. They have been mentor's to many young people and under their leadership have had some go into youth ministry. We love Joe and Amy's dedication to Christ, their willingnss to serve and their commitment to the ministry. They have been a blessing to our church and have had an impact on the lives of our young people. Their goal is for our youth to know Christ and to have a real encounter with Jesus. Joe and Amy have been married for 20 years. They have two sons Adam and Jeremy.
Philip and Julie joined Children's Ministry in May 2016. They have been in ministry for 12 years. They have a deep love for Children and are so excited to see what God has in store for the kids here at Romulus. Their mission is to help each child grow a good foundation in Christ. Proverbs 22:6; Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Philip and Julie have three boys, Zachary, Chase and Alec.
Open Arms Ministry:
Open Arms is a mission for the homeless, who are living in shelters downtown at and around the Cass Corridor area. Our Mission is to bring the love of Christ Jesus to those in need, in the form of outstreched arms, along with the giving of hygiene kits, food, water, Bibles, prayer for every need and to introduce the Holy Spirit through the precious gift of Salvation. Please see brother Bob Wilson if you would like to help or donate items to this Ministry.
